I have recently written and submitted a short story entitled ‘If It Shines’ which concerns a failed seaside business enterprise. More details will follow.
Following the publication of my successful novels (and in my advancing years – I am now in my seventies) – I now intend to concentrate more upon writing short stories – for which there is considerable demand. I will publish some of these upon this website in due course.

Having traveled around much of the world, it has long been on my ‘Bucket list’ to visit the top of mainland Britain (not including Orkney and Shetland). I finally managed to get to John O’Groats – thankfully on beautiful sunny day where the islands of Orkney were clearly visible – a wondrous site !
Yesterday, I cut the ribbon, gave a short speech and opened a new furniture store in Tywyn, Wales. I also signed earlier hardback copies of my novel ‘Cry Of The Machi’ as well as promoting my other novels.
I hope that all of my relations, friends, and readers of my books had an excellent Christmas – and I now wish everybody a happy and prosperous New Year – in 2016.
